_Children of the Vampire_ Jeanne Kalogridis is the second in the Diaries of the Family Dracul series, which covers the story of Dracula fifty years before the events of Bram Stoker's book occur. As in Stoker's book, the series is told through diary accounts of the people involved. Kalogridis does a good job of capturing the original flavor of Stoker's work, and adds some very interesting aspects to the Dracula story with her work. Recommended for fans of the original Stoker book.
