_Door Number Three_ by Patrick O'Leary is a fast-paced modern sci-fi story that convincingly combines aliens, dreaming and modern family psychology into an interesting package. Perhaps the aspect that most distinguishes this book from the every day run-of-the-mill weird sci-fi is that there is a lot of emphasis on the main character's psyche and how his formationn was influenced by his past. Excellent and highly recommended.
