Okay, who never watched _Fractured Fairy Tales_ as a child? This is a modernized set of Fractured Fairy Tales as told by A.J. Jacobs. If you're looking for a pleasantly reminiscent read, you won't get it here. Instead, these are tales in the old TV show tradition, but thoroughly modernized. I don't think the book is nearly as amusing as the old TV cartoons were, but that might be nostalgia talking.
