Okay, call me uncultured, but I really, really want to know why
Thomas Pynchon's _Gravity's Rainbow_ is considered to be a modern
literary classic. The "plot" (and I use the term loosely)
revolves/bounces/meanders around the discovery that a map of one
man's sexual conquests corresponds exactly with sites hit by the V2
rocket. I DIDN'T GET IT. Yeah okay, it's occasionally funny, but
more often than not, the book just plain didn't make any sense to me.
Bleah. I had to force myself to finish this book.
